What’s happening at CytoSport?
Seeing this is our
first newsletter I thought it might be suitable to use
this column to better introduce CytoSport and give a bit
of an insight of who we really are.
CytoSport is manufactured in California, USA and
distributed throughout most of the world. It is imported
into Auckland and distributed both online and through a
select network of Endurance and Muscle specialised
dealers (click here to view our dealers).
Our goal is to provide you with a product that allows
you to get the most out of your body and training
regimen. We know what a joy it is to actually feel a
difference in energy, strength, endurance and recovery
when a product and a supplement routine really works. To
provide you with these performance-enhancing products,
we enlist a team of advisors consisting of biochemists,
exercise physiologists, research scientists and medical
professionals. These experts critically evaluate
scientific research in order to determine what is safe
and effective and what is mere hype. Decisions are made
to manufacture only products that utilize sound
research, premium raw materials and safe, effective
production methods.
That basically summarizes us and our obligation to you.

Nutrition Tip #1
To finish things off, here
is our first nutrition tip. It’s a simple one but it’s
amazing how many people seem to ignore it!
With anything
over moderate-intensity exercise, you are fighting a
losing battle when it comes to hydration. A
competitive-level athlete may train for months to gain a
10% increase and performance, and will probably never
get there. However, as little fluid loss as 1% body
weight can decrease performance by 10%!
Drink early and regularly – don’t try and catch up
because it WILL NOT happen! Your 10% increase in race
performance could be as easy as drinking more volume,
more often.
We hope you have enjoyed your read
and wish safe and productive training over the next few
months.
Catch you then!! The CytoSport Team. |
